There's the title from the first Breath of Fire game, and also the title of this page!
What we have here, are several of the best games ever made. The Breath of Fire series, 1-4 currently, focus on a youth named Ryu. Ryu is a member of the Light Dragon Clan/Brood and is the opposing force against the goddess Myria.

In the 3rd installment of the game, Myria has encased life within the Outer Sea, and only allows them a marginal amount of machines with which to develop their techonology. The people, however, do not know this and accept their predicament. Also in the world, is an 'organization', based in Syn City.

As usual, scattered throughout the landscape are the Yggdrasils, the trees of life.
